Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for solving traffic congestion at a parking lot exit passageway. The method is applied to a video camera, and comprises the steps of: increasing an intersection before the exit passageway, arranging first vehicle inspection equipment and a congestion-preventing barrier gate at an exit of an incoming passageway, arranging second vehicle inspection equipment, an exit barrier gate and indication equipment at an entrance of the exit passageway, and arranging third vehicle inspection equipment on an outgoing passageway; closing the congestion-preventing barrier gate when receiving a notification that a vehicle is detected by the first vehicle inspection equipment; judging whether the vehicle meets a release condition; opening the exit barrier gate when the vehicle meets the release condition; closing the exit barrier gate and opening the congestion-preventing barrier gate when receiving a notification that the vehicle is detected by the second vehicle inspection equipment; sending a command prompting that the vehicle leaves from the outgoing passageway to the indication equipment when the vehicle does not meet the release condition; and opening the congestion-preventing barrier gate when receiving a notification that the vehicle is detected by the third vehicle inspection equipment.
