A main nozzle of an air jet loom, comprising a nozzle body (11); a yarn inlet pipe (12) mounted in the nozzle body (11) to allow introduction of a weft yarn (Y); a passage forming pipe (13, 91) cooperating with an outer peripheral surface of an end portion (23) of the yarn inlet pipe (12) to form a passage (32) of compressed air; an accelerator pipe (14) disposed downstream of the passage forming pipe (13, 91) to accelerate the weft yarn (Y); a first holder (36, 67, 77, 92, 113) holding the accelerator pipe (14); a brush (37) disposed in a passage of the compressed air between the passage forming pipe (13) and the first holder (36, 67, 77, 92, 113) to catch the weft yarn (Y) flowing back from the accelerator pipe (14); and a second holder (35, 60, 71, 90, 110) holding the brush (37) and the first holder (36, 67, 77, 92, 113), wherein the passage forming pipe (13) has an end (34, 70) extending from the nozzle body (11), and the second holder (35, 60, 71, 90, 110) is fixed to the end (34, 70).
