Commodity advertising information association tables corresponding to video contents can be built by applying the function modules; the association tables are stored in a storage device; after a request for playing a video is received, the video is played through a video player; the request is proposed by a user; after video play pausing information proposed by the user is received, the video is paused; the played duration of the video is calculated; the commodity advertising information in the association tables corresponding to the paused time point of the video is queried according to the played duration of the video; the commodity advertising information is sent to a client; the commodity advertising information is displayed in a display screen; when a request for clicking the commodity advertising information is received, the websites associated with the commodity advertising information are linked so as to enter related web pages; and the request for clicking the commodity advertising information is proposed by the user.
