The circuit breaker monitoring apparatus comprises wireless induction apparatuses, a controller and an output module which are electrically connected in sequence; the circuit breaker monitoring apparatus also comprises induction tags, wherein the induction tags are arranged on at least one switch of the circuit breaker; the wireless induction apparatuses are used for reading information of the corresponding induction tags, and generating induction electric signals according to the corresponding reading results; the controller is used for judging the on-off state of the circuit breaker according to the induction electric signals, and generating an on-off state electric signal; the output module is used for outputting the on-off state electric signal; and each wireless induction apparatus comprises an NFC (near field communication) induction apparatus or an RFID (radio frequency identification) induction apparatus. According to the apparatus, the on-off state of the circuit breaker can be monitored by judging that whether the induction tags mounted on the switch of the circuit breaker can be induced or not by the corresponding wireless induction apparatus; and therefore, the on-off state of the circuit breaker can be monitored without improving the existing circuit.
