Abstract

The invention provides a pedestrian warning system and method for a full electric vehicle. A controller is connected with a CAN bus, a radar probe and a sound production device, and after obstacle information and a CAN signal which are received by the controller meet preset conditions, the controller controls the sound production device to send out a warning prompt tone, wherein the obstacle information reflects that the radar probe recognizes an obstacle within a calibration range, and the CAN signal is transmitted through the CAN bus and reflects the current running state of the vehicle. The system provides a sound warning for pedestrians, and the problem that the radar detection technology is adopted in the prior art, no sound is sent out in the vehicle low-speed traveling process to remind the pedestrians that the vehicle is approaching, and consequently a collision accident happens is solved.
