Abstract

A method of controlling flow comprising the steps of: selecting an operating condition defined by an operating flow and an operating pressure; comparing the operating flow to a threshold flow; and performing an adaptive calibration step if the operating flow is greater than or equal to the threshold flow. The adaptive calibration step includes: measuring the operating pressure; measuring a first flow through the first meter; and modifying the pressure-flow meter based on the operating pressure and the first flow.
