Abstract

The invention discloses a distributed processing method and engine for data access requests. The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining a data access request, aiming at target data, initiated by a user terminal, wherein the target data comprises N data segments which are pre-stored at N data nodes in a distributed storage system in a one-to-one manner, and N is a positive integer; correspondingly decomposing the data access request into N data access sub-requests according to storage positions, on the N data nodes, of the N data segments, and respectively sending the N data access sub-requests to the N data nodes in a one-to-one manner; and merging data returned after responding the data access sub-requests corresponding to the N data nodes, and sending the merged data to the user terminal. The method and engine disclosed by the invention can greatly reduce the communication overhead in the whole access response process, reduce the influences caused by equipment faults and improve the data access reliability.
