Abstract

The invention discloses an LLC resonant converter and a method for suppressing a ripple in an output voltage thereof. The converter comprises a main converter, a feedforward controller and a controlled oscillator, wherein the main converter comprises a half-bridge or full-bridge chopper, an inductor-capacitor series resonant network, an isolation transformer and a rectification filtering circuit which are sequentially connected, the half-bridge or full-bridge chopper is provided with a driving circuit, the feedforward controller is used for generating a feedforward signal by using an input voltage, the controlled oscillator is used for receiving the feedforward signal from the feedward controller and controlling the working frequency of the chopper by the driving circuit according to the feedforward signal. Therefore, feedfoward correction is provided for the LLC resonant converter so as to reduce the ripple in the DC output voltage of the LLC resonant converter.
