The insurance policy buyback method comprises the steps that a first application program acquires insurance information and auditing rules, and sends the insurance information and the auditing rules to a second application program; the second application program checks the insurance information according to the auditing rules; if the insurance information contains exception content which does not conform to the auditing rules, the second application program records the exception content, acquires corresponding problem description according to the exception content and returns the problem description back to the first application program; and the first application program generates an exception notice corresponding to the insurance information according to the problem description and sends the exception notice to a terminal so as to enable the terminal to return a confirmation message according to the exception notice. The buyback efficiency can be effectively improved by adopting the method.
