The method comprises the steps of acquiring at least two configuration files and users corresponding to the at least two configuration files; acquiring an order in which users corresponding to the at least two configuration files modify configuration files corresponding to the users corresponding to the at least two configuration files; and associating reference count values corresponding to the at least two configuration files with the at least two configuration files, wherein the reference count value is used for identifying the user corresponding to the configuration file corresponding to the reference count value and the order in which the user corresponding to the configuration file corresponding to the reference count value modifies the configuration file.
