The method comprises the steps of obtaining identification information of an inserted disk; utilizing disk recording information and identification information prestored in a disk file system to judge whether the disk belongs to the distributed type storage system; if the disk belongs to the distributed type storage system, utilizing the disk recording information and the identification information to judge if the disk belongs to the node; if the disk belongs to the node, mounting the disk to a first specific position according to the disk recording information, and starting a storage equipment daemon progress; if the disk does not belong to the distributed type storage system, creating a mounting file, mounting the mounting file to a second recording position, and starting the storage equipment daemon progress.
