Abstract

The invention relates to a preparation method for extracting a medicinal and edible monomer for preventing and treating hyperuricemia and gout from coffee. The method comprises the following steps: breaking seed coats of the raw material coffee, adding water, boiling, filtering while the liquid is hot, adding ethanol into the residues, extracting under reflux, regulating the pH value of the extracting solution to 9, carrying out high-speed centrifugal concentration to obtain a filtrate, regulating the pH value of the filtrate to neutrality, passing through an AB-8 macroporous resin column, sequentially eluting with ethanols with gradually increasing concentrations, identifying by thin-layer chromatography, collecting the eluates with high proportion of the target compound, merging, and making the obtained eluate into the product. The coffee contains chlorogenic acid, caffeoyl quinic acid, dicaffeoyl quinic acid which can effectively lower uric acid, and thus, has application potential in treating hyperuricemia and gout in clinic. The method purposefully enriches the target monomer, has the advantages of low cost and high yield, and can easily implement industrialized large-scale production. Capsules, tablets, health protection tea and other preparation formulations prepared from the monomer are convenient to take in many different ways.
