The method comprises the following steps: playing downlink sound signals, and forming echo signals after the downlink sound signals are propagated on the basis of a propagation path outside a terminal; picking up sound signals in a preset range around the terminal so as to acquire uplink sound signals; judging whether the downlink sound signals are noise signals; judging whether the uplink sound signals contain sound signals with the frequencies lower than a preset frequency threshold; according to a result obtained after judging whether the downlink sound signals are the noise signals and a result obtained after judging whether the uplink sound signals contain the sound signals with the frequencies lower than the preset frequency threshold, determining the state of the terminal; determining the filter coefficient of a filter model on the basis of the state of the terminal, wherein the filter model is a model adopted when the terminal filter echo signals in the uplink sound signals.
