The method comprises the following steps: determining a deflection angle of an axis of the vehicle when the vehicle tilts; determining a current height value of the headlamp according to the deflection angle of the axis of the vehicle and a distance from the headlamp of the vehicle to a front axle; determining an illuminating tilt angle required by the current height value as a currently required illuminating tilt angle according to the current height value of the headlamp and an actually required illuminating distance; and calculating the currently required illuminating tilt angle according to an initial tilt angle of the headlamp, the currently required illuminating tilt angle of the headlamp and the deflection angle of the axis of the vehicle and adjusting the tilt angle of the headlamp according to an angle deserved to be adjusted of the headlamp. According to the application, when the tilt angle of the headlamp is changed as a vehicle body tilts due to dynamic factors such as a road condition and a load change, the tilt angle of the headlamp can be dynamically adjusted in real time, so that the headlamp can meet the requirement of real-time illuminating, and therefore, the travelling safety and comfort can be ensured.
