The system includes a processing unit arranged on a traveling vehicle and an image acquisition unit connected with the processing unit; the image acquisition unit is used for acquiring lane pictures in the traveling process of the vehicle in real time and sending the lane pictures to the processing unit; and the processing unit is used for obtaining lane line sample pictures in an offline or online manner to establish a lane line sample library, extracting the RGB pixel values of lane lines in the lane line sample library to establish a G-S color model, inputting the lane pictures in the traveling process on the basis of the G-S color model, detecting the lane lines in the lane pictures through likelihood probability calculation and threshold segmentation, and extracting the lane lines from the lane pictures through Hough transform.
