The method comprises steps that a mobility management entity receives a mobility session request of a receiving terminal; the mobility management entity judges whether a user plane gateway needs to be reselected; if yes, the mobility management entity sends a bearing correction request to a control plane gateway, wherein the bearing correction request comprises position information of the terminal, so the control plane gateway selects a target user plane gateway according to the position information and the current network state of the terminal; and the mobility management entity receives a bearing correction response of the control plane gateway, wherein the bearing correction response comprises an IP address of the target user plane gateway. Thus, it can be achieved that the mobility management entity can sense that whether the user plane gateway will be triggered to be changed after the terminal moves under the condition that the control plane gateway is unchanged, thereby triggering gateway reselection.
