Method for establishment of a service tunnel in a WLAN

Disclosed herein is a method for the establishment of a service tunnel in a wireless local area network (WLAN). The method includes a service authentication authorization unit making authentication and authorization to a WLAN user terminal currently requesting a service, and judging whether the authentication and authorization is successful. If successful, the method includes generating service authorization information that includes a shared communication key used for communication between the WLAN user terminal and a destination packet data gateway (PDG), and otherwise ending the procedure. The method further includes the service authentication authorization unit sending to the destination PDG the generated service authorization information including the shared communication key, and the destination PDG, according to the shared communication key, establishing a trust relation with the WLAN user terminal through negotiation with the WLAN user terminal. If the establishment of the trust relation is successful, the destination PDG allocates tunnel resources for the WLAN user terminal, negotiates parameters and then establishes a tunnel with the WLAN user terminal, and otherwise, ends the procedure. As a result, a secured service data tunnel may be established between the user terminal and the PDG.

The flow control method comprises the following steps that: a base station monitors a length of a shared data buffer queue that is maintained by the base station, wherein the shared data buffer queue comprises all downstream user flows that are from a packet core network and belong to the base station; according to a monitored congestion state of the shared data buffer queue, the base station reports indication information on the congestion state to a base station controller; the base station controller transmits a congestion state indication through a signaling protocol of a packet data gateway, wherein the signaling protocol is established between the base station controller and the core network; and the packet data gateway sends a flow control request to a strategy server; the strategy server determines flow control strategies for data flows of different users under the base station; and the packet data gateway carried out flow controls on data flows of the different users according to the flow control strategies. According to the invention, on the basis of monitoring on a congestion state of a shared data buffer queue by a base station, a strategy server and a packet data gateway can carry out differential flow controls on data flows of different users.

A telecommunications system is arranged to provide a mobile communications session to a mobile node using an internet protocol. The telecommunications system comprises a home packet data network which includes a home agent of the mobile node and a visited packet data network. One of the home packet data network or the visited packet data network includes a packet data gateway for controlling the communication of the internet packets to and from the home packet data network from and to the visited packet data network. The mobile node is arranged to communicate a correspondent node binding update internet packet to the correspondent node via the packet date gateway, when the mobile node changes affiliation from the home packet data network to the visited packet data network. The correspondent node binding update internet packet provides a care of address of the mobile node within the visited packet data network and a home address of the mobile node. The packet data network is arranged to store the home address of the mobile node in association with the care of address of the mobile node, to adapt the correspondent node binding update internet packet by replacing the care of address in the received correspondent binding update packet with the address of the packet data gateway, and to communicate the adapted correspondent binding update packet to the correspondent node. The correspondent node therefore receives a correspondent binding update with the packet data gateway as the care of address. Thus, when the correspondent node communicates with the mobile node using the care of address of the packet data gateway, the packet data gateway can adapt the received internet packets, replacing the packet data gateway's address as the destination address with the care of address of the mobile node. Therefore, although a route optimisation process has taken place the internet packets are still routed via the packet data gateway.

The invention discloses a bearer establishing method, a relay node and a base station. The method comprises the following steps: after a radio link fails or radio resource control connection reconstruction fails, a non-access stratum of the relay node determines whether a donor evolved base station is the same as a donor evolved base station which is connected with before failure; when the donor evolved base station is the same as the donor evolved base station which is connected with before failure, a service request process is initiated and an original evolved packet system bearer is activated; and, when the donor evolved base station is not the same as the donor evolved base station which is connected with before failure, an attachment process is initiated and a bearer is established. According to the method disclosed by the invention, in the event that the donor evolved base station is not changed, the relay node can be used for establishing a connection with the donor evolved base station as soon as possible; therefore, the signalling interactive process is reduced; in the event that the donor evolved base station is changed, the problem of incapability of changing a packet data gateway in the prior art can be solved; and, because of adoption of the traditional parameters in the implementation, the realizing complexity is low.

Method and system for reserving packet data gateway address information

The invention discloses a method for reserving address information of a packet data network gateway (PDN GW), comprising the steps: a user-signed server reserves the address information of the dynamic PDN GW used by a user terminal clear of attachment according to a request message for clearing the user terminal sent by a clear operation initiating end; and a clearing mark is set and an acknowledgment message for clearing the user terminal is returned to the clear operation initiating end. The invention also discloses a system for reserving the address information of the PDN GW simultaneously, and the system comprises the clear operation initiating end and the user-signed server. The method and the system for reserving the address information of the PDN GW do not delete the address information of the PDN GW used by the UE clear of attachment in a 3GPP access system or do not mark the address information of the PDN GW to be invalid, therefore, the UE can be continued to be accessed to a network according to the reserved address information of the PDN GW when being switched in a non-3GPP access system or switched from the non-3GPP access system back to the 3GPP access system, thus ensuring the continuity of businesses of the UE when being used among different networks. Simultaneously, the invention has simple realization.
