Abstract

A kit for detecting and identifying a dry eye syndrome is disclosed. The kit includes a compound used for detecting the interleukin 6 (IL-6) protein level. According to the kit, the IL-6 level in a detected sample is adopted as an early diagnosis indication of the dry eye syndrome, detection is rapid, simple and convenient, the lost is low, sensitivity is high, specificity is good and the kit is safe and reliable. The kit can achieve early diagnosis on whether a patient is affected with the dry eye syndrome or not, excludes subjective discomforts caused by psychological and mental disorders, can prompt an inherent reason of the dry eye syndrome (such as SS dry eye syndrome), provides dry eye syndrome graded treatment with objective bases and provides an objective evaluation system for development of novel medicine treating the dry eye syndrome.
