The optical modulator comprises a first light dimming unit, a second light dimming unit and a third light dimming unit; the first light dimming unit is used for gathering light emitted by the backlight; the second light dimming unit is used for converting light passing the first light dimming unit into parallel light; the third light dimming unit is used for converting parallel light passing the second light dimming unit into vertical light.
