The method comprises steps of acquiring real-time parking data of N parking lots in a set region in a peak period of the set region, wherein N>=1; determining the parking stall occupation rate of each parking lot according to the real-time parking data of each parking lot; determining M parking lots whose parking lot occupation rates are smaller than the first threshold value in the N parking lots to be idle parking lots, wherein 1<=M<N; and finally recommending the M idle parking lots to users who are driving to the set region. In the embodiment, by acquiring the real-time parking data of each parking lot, analyzing the real-time parking stall occupation condition of each parking lot according to the real-time parking data, and carrying out flow dividing on vehicles in the set region according to the real-time parking stall occupation condition of each parking lot, so problems of parking jams and parking difficulties in the set region in the peak period are solved and the parking resource utilization rate in the set region is increased.
