Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method, apparatus and equipment for carrying channel associated signaling during a voice calling process. The method comprises: to-be-transmitted voices are divided into active voices and inactive voices and the part of inactive voices are abandoned; the to-be-transmitted voices with the part of inactive voices abandoned are coded again according to a preset rule; and when the time slot occupied by the abandoned inactive voices is larger than or equal to that occupied by channel associated signaling, the channel associated signaling is embedded into the time slot occupied by the to-be-transmitted voices. During the voice calling process, the transmitter can carry and transmit channel associated signaling, wherein the channel associated signaling not only carries related data information but also carries information of receiving reverse signaling. Therefore, concurrence of voices and data services is realized; and the transmitter can receive reverse signaling by a time slot employed by transmission while transmitting a voice signal and a reverse channel is realized by a single time slot, so that the spectrum resources can be saved.
