Abstract

The objective of the invention is to provide a method, apparatus and system for shortening a transmission delay of time division duplex in a base station. The method according to the invention comprises the following steps: when a request of shortening the transmission delay of time division duplex from at least one user equipment of a cell is received, obtaining configuration indication information corresponding to the cell, wherein the configuration indication information comprises information used for indicating to change the data transmission direction of one or more time slots for transmitting downlink data in the original uplink and downlink configuration; and sending the configuration indication information to the at least one user equipment so as to reconfigure the uplink and downlink configuration of the at least one user equipment based on the configuration indication information.
