Methods and apparatus for automatic call-back reminders are provided. A call reminder function is provided by an arrangement operable with a network-enabled communication device wherein a reminder to return a telephone call can be generated in an automatic fashion after the call event has occurred. When a call event occurs, an option to create a link between the call and the user's scheduling application is displayed on the device's user interface ("UI"). If the user selects this option, a callback task is added to the user's task list maintained by the calendar application, and a reminder to make this callback is generated and will then be displayed on the UI at a future time.
