Abstract

A luminaire (100) comprising a housing (110) formed of thermally conductive polymer with an optic (140) carried thereby, a trim (150) carried by the optic (140), and a light source (130). The light source (130) may comprise an LED board comprising a copper layer and a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) (131) disposed on the LED board (132). The luminaire (100) may also comprise control circuitry (136) operably coupled to the plurality of LEDs (131), wherein the LED board is positioned in thermal communication with the housing (110). The luminaire (100) may further comprise a mounting member configured to be attached to each of the housing (110) and an external structure. The control circuitry (136) may be configured to operate the plurality of LEDs (131) such that heat generated by the plurality of LEDs (131) is dissipated by the copper layer of the LED board.
