Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a use method of a distributed physical disk, and a virtual machine. The virtual machine is applied to a distributed system containing N physical disks; each physical disk is located at one side of a host machine; a small physical disk in each physical disk is provided with a serial number; each physical disk is provided with a large physical disk identifier, and the small physical disk is provided with a small physical disk identifier; the large physical disk identifier is combined with the serial number of the small physical disk to obtain the small physical disk identifier. The virtual machine determines the identifier of a target physical disk, namely, the identifier of the large physical disk; the virtual machine directly sends a query request to the target physical disk, and splits the obtained target data according to a feedback result and sends the split target data to the corresponding small disk to store. Through the above mentioned realization scheme, the searching of the subsequent physical disk is convenient, and the congestion is reduced; furthermore, the data congestion probability can be reduced, the degree of parallelism of the data storage is improved, and the security of the data storage can be improved.
