The method comprises three phases: a data tracing phase, a transmission topology discovering phase and an abnormal node discovering phase. According to the data tracing phase, in a data packet transmission process, tracing information is marked through superposition multiplexing of orthogonal identifiers of routing nodes and tracing data; after a base station receives data packets, through normalization inner product calculation, the routing nodes participating in forwarding the data packets and the forwarding order thereof are extracted from the tracing data; and transmission paths of the data packets are restored according to the routing nodes and the forwarding order. According to the transmission topology discovering phase, the data transmission paths obtained through data tracing are used for fitting transmission topologies of the WSN and accumulating activity degree weights of the nodes.
