The manufacturing method includes the steps that a first glass substrate and a second glass substrate which have the same size are provided; corresponding first ends of the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate are made to have acute inclination angles; the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate are arranged in an aligned mode with the two first ends corresponding to each other and the two inclination angles close to each other; the space between the first ends of the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate is filled with a conducting adhesive, a conducting sphere in the conducting adhesive is fixedly connected to a conducting wire on the second glass substrate, a chip-on-film of a liquid crystal display panel is perpendicularly attached to the side edges of the first ends of the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate, and the chip-on-film is connected with the conducting wire through the conducting sphere; the chip-on-film is connected to a circuit board of the liquid crystal display panel with the conducting adhesive; all ends of the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate are packaged with a black binder; the chip-on-film is bent to make the circuit board located on the backlight side of a backlight module. By means of the manufacturing method, frameless manufacturing of the liquid crystal display panel is achieved.
