The electronic signature verification method comprises steps of receiving a hand-written signature request carrying personal identity information which is transmitted by a user targeting one matter through the verification server, enabling the user terminal to obtain a hand-written signature interface, enabling the user to provide a corresponding hand-written signature targeting the matter based on the hand-written interface, receiving the hand-written signature which targets the matter and is transmitted by the user terminal and data correlated to personal identity information, extracting a stored verification sample of the hand-written signature correlated to the personal identity information, calculating similarity between the hand-written signature and the extracted verification sample, if the calculated similarity is greater than a first preset threshold value, passing the hand-written signature of the user which targets the matter, or, if the calculated similarity is smaller than or equal to the first preset threshold value, refusing the hand-written signature of the user which targets the matter.
