Abstract

The invention relates to a battery parallel balancing device and a battery parallel balancing method. The battery parallel balancing device comprises a battery module, a switch module, a control module and a microprocessor, wherein the battery module comprises a plurality of battery packs which are connected in parallel; the switch module comprises at least one switch tube; the control module comprises at least one PWM driving control circuit; each parallel branch is connected to one switch tube; a control end of each switch tube is electrically connected with one PWM driving control circuit; and the microprocessor is used for collecting real-time current of each parallel branch and adjusting the turn-on duty ratio of each switch tube through the corresponding PWM driving control circuit according to the real-time current. The battery parallel balancing device adjusts the turn-on duty ratio of the switch tube on each battery parallel branch according to the real-time current on the branch, thereby controlling charging current on the branch, and thus avoiding battery damages caused by excessive charging current on the parallel branches when power balancing is performed on parallel battery packs.
