Abstract

A retainer assembly for retaining a board on a component. The retainer assembly includes a base defining holes for receiving screws. A pair of front support members and a pair of rear support members each have a first portion connected to the base, and a second portion bent outwardly over the aperture in response to engagement by the screw. Front and rear primary retaining members each extend outwardly from the front and rear support members to secure the retainer assembly relative to the plate. A pair of front secondary retaining members and a pair of rear secondary retaining members each extend outwardly from the first portions of the front support member and the rear support member. The ends of the front and rear secondary retaining members are closer to the base than the front and rear primary retaining members to create an interference fit between the retainer assembly and the plate before the screws pass through the assembly.
