The anti-flashover ring of the present invention includes a substantially cylindrical body having an outer surface with a plurality of passageways thereon. Each of the passageways pass from one of the sidewalls through the body to the other of the sidewalls of the ring. The passageways function to provide fluid communication between the atmosphere surrounding an accessory product such as a bushing insert and the interior of a connector mounted thereon when the connector is being pulled off the bushing insert. The fluid communication prevents a vacuum from forming between the connector and the bushing insert that can lead to a flashover between an electrical probe in the connector and a ground shield of the bushing insert. The anti-flashover ring is also configured to provide an indication to the operator installing the connector of when the connector is fully installed on the bushing insert. Such indication is provided by providing the ring with a width that is equal to length of the lip of the connector when the connector is fully installed. As such, the operator installing the connector continues to push on the connector until the end of the lip aligns with the end of the ring.

Loadbreak connector assembly which prevents switching flashover

Loadbreak connectors which are modified to reduce the probability of flashover upon disassembly operation of a loadbreak bushing insert from a power cable elbow connector. The loadbreak bushing insert and power cable elbow connector are mated with an interference fit between an elbow cuff and a transition shoulder portion of the loadbreak bushing insert. The bushing insert is provided with vents to vent a cavity formed between the elbow cuff and the transition shoulder portion of the bushing insert with ambient air to avoid a decrease in pressure within the connection region and avoid a decrease in the dielectric strength of the air therein thus preventing flashover. Preferably, the vents are provided on an elbow seating indicator band formed of a bright contrasting color on the bushing insert which, in addition to venting the cavity, serves to indicate whether the loadbreak connector is improperly assembled.

During disruptive discharging, a signal acquisition device automatically senses a lightning current signal and triggers a high speed injection gas generation apparatus. A high speed injection air flow is instantly generated so as to carry out great impact on a follow current arc in a constraint space along a vertical direction, and carry out cooling till the arc is quenched. According to the invention, a structure is simple, installation and maintenance are convenient. Through using the apparatus of the invention, when the line is suffered from the lightning stroke, a lightning current can be rapidly led to the ground and simultaneously a high speed airflow quenching power frequency follow current is generated so that electric equipment can be effectively protected and power supply reliability is increased.

Nitrogen atoms can reduce the defect density of the float-zone silicon single crystals, and dislocation movement in pinning crystals can enhance the mechanical strength of the float-zone silicon single crystals, so that the performance of subsequent apparatuses is improved. Silicon single crystals with different mechanical performances can be obtained by adjusting the proportion of argon, so that expansion of application range and field of the silicon single crystals is facilitated.
