Abstract

The invention discloses an online detection device and method for a pantograph steering knuckle based on image processing. The device comprises three parts such as an image acquisition module, a datatransmission module and an image processing module, wherein the data transmission module transmits image data acquired by the image acquisition module to the image processing module, and the image processing module judges whether a steering knuckle exits or not in a pantograph steering knuckle image captured in real time by using an active shape model learning algorithm. The method comprises the steps of firstly performing preprocessing on an acquired image, wherein the preprocessing comprises filtering, image enhancement and edge detection; then performing feature point marking on the steering knuckle image, and building an ASM model; then carrying out initial region positioning on the steering knuckle; and finally performing accurate positioning on the steering knuckle according to the built steering knuckle model and initial region positioning, and judging whether the steering knuckle is absent or not.
