A specific gravity measuring and controlling system for slack coal separation is installed on a coal picker. A sampler of the specific gravity measuring and controlling system communicates with a chute. A sample material conveying passage of the sampler is located above a stabilizing device. An upper opening of a buffering bin of the stabilizing device is opposite to the sample material conveyingpassage of the sampler. A flattening device is arranged at the lower end of the buffering bin. A material level meter is installed in the buffering bin. A discharging groove is located below the buffering bin. An upper opening of a container of a weighing device is in butt joint with a discharging opening of the buffering bin. A discharging device is arranged at the bottom of the container. A vibrator is arranged outside the container. The container is hung on an electronic scale frame through a hanging device. An electronic scale is installed on the electronic scale frame. The hanging deviceis connected with the electronic scale. The electronic scale is connected with a sensor and a PLC control system. The refuse rate and ash content of products are worked out according to specific gravity data and formulas. Feeding and discharging systems of a main machine are controlled through the control system, and various factors affecting separation of a dry method slack coal jigger are controlled and adjusted.
