Abstract

Optimizing the load modulation amplitude requires high-resolution tuning of the phase used for active load modulation (ALM) in near-field communication (NFC) systems. This disclosure describes that in one embodiment, the high resolution tuning of the phase can be achieved by adjusting the attenuation coefficient of a radio frequency (RF) attenuator in the NFC system.
