Abstract

The invention provides a control method and device of an electric vehicle and the electric vehicle. The electric vehicle comprises a motor controller, a motor, an electricity distributing unit and a cooling system, wherein by means of the cooling system, coolant sequentially flows through the motor controller, the motor and the electricity distributing unit. The method includes the steps of obtaining the first temperature of the coolant flowing through the motor controller, the second temperature of the coolant flowing through the motor and the third temperature of the coolant flowing throughthe electricity distributing unit, comparing the first temperature, the second temperature and the third temperature to obtain a comparison result, judging whether the electric vehicle fails or not according to the comparison result, and outputting failure prompting information when it is judged that the electric vehicle fails. By obtaining the temperatures of the coolant at different positions and judging whether the electric vehicle fails or not according to the obtained temperatures, it is avoided that the motor controller, the motor or the electricity distributing unit is burned down due to too high temperature, the driving of the electric vehicle is affected and even safety accidents are caused.
