Abstract

The invention relates to a fixing assembly for attaching a limiter for the travel of a rear shelf of a motor vehicle on a rear door of the vehicle, the limiter being provided with at least one rope (2), wherein the first end part of the at least one rope is integral with the rear shelf, and the second end of the at least one cord is provided with a first fixing element (15) which can be detachablyfastened to a pedestal (16) that is integral with the door. The pedestal (16) is characterized in that the body of the pedestal (16) comprises a head (17) which forms a solid body capable of receiving the first fixed element (15) and a fixed interface (18) which allows the pedestal (16) to be integrated on the door.
