Embodiment Construction

[0042] The illustrations in the figures are schematic. It is worth noting that in different figures, similar or identical elements are provided with the same reference signs.

[0043] In the figure, the container 1 for collecting the lubricant consists of:

[0044] - Housing 10 having a longitudinal axial extension along longitudinal axis Y. The housing has a first longitudinal end 11 and a longitudinally opposite second end 12, said first longitudinal end 11 being compatible with the image 3 is connected with a lubricant source shown schematically by the block of reference number 5,

[0045] - a cover 13 attached to the second end 12,

[0046] - a piston 15 slidably movable inside the housing 10 between the first end 11 and the second end 12 of the housing 10,

[0047] - An adapter 16 having a first rigid portion 46 connectable between the first end 11 of the housing 10 and the lubricant source 5 .

Abstract

The present invention relates to lubricant containers. A container (1) for collecting lubricant comprises a housing (10) having a longitudinal axial extension between a first end (11) connectable to a source of lubricant and a longitudinally opposite second end (12). a cover (13) connected to the second end (12); a piston (15) slidably movable within the housing between the first end (11) and the second end (12) of the housing (10). The cover (13) is connected to the second end (12) of the housing (10) by a snap connection (20) for preventing axial displacement between the cover and the housing, each having a first flat surface (21) and a second flat surface (22), which are in mutual contact for preventing rotation of the cover (13) about the longitudinal axis (Y) of the housing (10).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a lubricant container. More particularly, but not exclusively, the present invention relates to lubricant containers connected to lubricated equipment for collecting excess lubricant. Background technique [0002] A container of the aforementioned type comprises a cylindrical housing having a first axial end forming an inlet connected to a lubricant source. The first axial end of the cylindrical housing is provided with external threads for connection to a lubricant source. In particular, but not exclusively, the source of lubricant may be a bearing. Such containers generally include a piston slidably mounted inside the housing, which divides the container into a front compartment into which the inlet opens, and a rear compartment, which is controlled by a second compartment of the cylindrical housing. Two axial ends are defined. Thus the piston can move back when the compartment is filled until the piston reaches t...
