Abstract

The invention relates to an empirical path planning method based on a virtual topology transportation network. The method comprises the steps of reconstructing a traditional road network by selectingmiddle points of road segments as nodes; calculating the average consuming time between any adjacent nodes by utilizing taxi trajectory data to weight a virtual network; planning the path between anytwo nodes by utilizing a DIJKSTRA algorithm to complete the construction of an empirical path planning model. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the time spent at intersections is subtly implied in the transit time of the adjacent node pairs; the transit time of the road segments and the delay time of the intersections are combined into one; the delay time at the nodes is not needed to be considered; and therefore, the travel time can be accurately estimated to plan optimal paths and the accurate navigation is more benefitted.
