Abstract

The method comprises the steps that a positioning server receives time deviation values sent by at least three base stations corresponding to a terminal, wherein the time deviation value sent by one base station representsthe deviation between the receiving time when the base station receives an access message and the start time of a wireless frame head of the base station, and the access message is transmitted by theterminal to the base station based on a positioning request; the positioning server calculates the position of the terminal based on the position information of at least three base stations and the received time deviation values sent by at least three base stations. Therefore, the terminal sequentially transmits the access message to the base stations in turns, thereby completing the positioning based on the position information of the base station and the time deviation values, avoiding the power consumption of the terminal, and guaranteeing the positioning precision. Meanwhile, there is no need of additional cost.
