Abstract

The invention discloses application of a tumor necrosis factor alpha-inducing protein 8-like molecule 1 in preparing a medicine for treating fatty liver and related diseases, and belongs to a new useof TIPE1. According to the application of the tumor necrosis factor alpha-inducing protein 8-like molecule 1 in preparing the medicine for treating the fatty liver and the related diseases, a human normal liver L02 cell line and a TIPE1 overexpressing L02 cell line are taken as objects of study, and a liver cell lipid accumulation model is induced by palmitate (PA) and oleic acid (OA) stimulationto study functions of a TIPE1 gene. The study finds that TIPE1 overexpression can significantly improve lipid accumulation in liver cells, indicating that TIPE1 can protect liver cells from fatty degeneration, and TIPE1 plays a protective role in liver lipid metabolism diseases. Since TIPE1 is an endogenous protein, the TIPE1 is high in safety as a drug.
