Abstract

The light source switching device comprises a backlight module and light source switching modules. Each light source switching module comprises a first diffraction lens unit, a second diffraction lens unit and a lens stop arranged between the first diffraction lens unit and the second diffraction lens unit, wherein the first diffraction lens unit is close to the backlight module, the second diffraction lens unit is far away from the backlight module, and the lens stop is located at the focal plane of the second diffraction lens unit. In the first light source state, each lens stop forms multiple apertures, each first diffraction lens unit focuses light emitted by the backlight module to the apertures of the corresponding lens stop, and each second diffraction lens unit adjusts a light beam given out from the apertures of the corresponding lens stop to be a collimated beam. In the second light source state, the lens stops, the first diffraction lens units and the second diffraction lens units all control light emitted by the backlight module to achieve direct transmission. By the adoption of the light source switching device, switching between scattered backlight and collimated backlight can be achieved, and the collimation effect on the outgoing beam can beimproved.
