Abstract

The invention discloses a network topology discovery method based on a survival time. The specific steps are as follows: (1) marking Internet Protocol messages; (2) selecting a group of Internet Protocol messages; (3) generating a routing hop set; (4) generating a source node category set; (5) generating a node relationship set; (6) judging whether all Internet Protocol messages are selected; (7)creating an adjacency matrix; and (8) using an adjacency matrix to represent the network topology. The source node category set is generated by using a monomial grouping method, the connection relationship of the node is determined by calculating the prefix matching length, in this way, when the source node category set is generated, the problems of high calculation complexity and increased network pressure when the connection relationship of the node is determined are solved, and the network topology discovery method has the advantages of low computational complexity and no increase of the network pressure.
