Abstract

The door / window magnetic sensing device includes: a housing; a magnetic sensor disposed in the housing and configured to sense a signal strength of a magnet and output a signal strength value; and a controller for receiving the signal strength from the magnetic sensor value. The controller is configured to compare the signal strength value to an alarm threshold and output one of a normal status signal and an alarm status signal. Further, the tampering state is detected by the approach of the second magnet. Indicators aid in assembling door / window sensing devices and assembling magnet assemblies.

Description

[0001] related application [0002] This application claims priority from US Provisional Application 62 / 274,000, filed December 31, 2015, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference. technical field [0003] The present invention relates to a door / window magnetic sensor for sensing the opening and closing of a door or window. Background technique [0004] Prior art door / window magnetic sensing devices use reed switches and therefore only know the open or closed state of the reed switch. The magnet must be positioned close to the switching point of the reed switch, which has a limited distance range for switching. The field applied to the reed switch by the magnet may also vary by a small amount in a particular installation due to the normal amount of play in the latch mechanism and seal (seal). This limited variation in the position of the magnet relative to the reed switch can lead to false alarms when the door moves even slightly, for example due to...
