Problems solved by technology

The disadvantage of this solution is: for a specific PUCCH format, the number of allocated PRBs must be fixed
However, PUCCH format 5 has a fixed bandwidth of one PRB, and thus does not support a varying number of PUCCHs

Embodiment 1

[0179] Embodiment .1 A method for a wireless device, the method comprising:

[0180] Obtaining 710 uplink control information UCI, the UCI comprising a plurality of UCI bits,

[0181] mapping 720 the UCI bits to a set of modulation symbols,

[0182] obtaining 730 a physical resource block PRB configuration, wherein the PRB configuration indicates at least one or more allocated resources available for transmission of the modulation symbols,

[0183] Mapping 740 the modulation symbols to the PRB configuration.

Embodiment 2

[0184] Embodiment 2. The method according to embodiment 1, further comprising: performing any of the steps of encoding, scrambling, interleaving, and CRC attaching of the UCI bits.

Embodiment 3

[0185] Embodiment 3. The method according to embodiments 1 to 2, further comprising

[0186] select a set of PRBs from the allocated PRBs, and

[0187] subcarriers included in the set of PRBs are allocated for transmission of the modulation symbols.

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a wireless device and a network node and corresponding methods within a wireless communication system. The method for transmitting uplink control information UCI used in the wireless device includes: obtaining UCI including a plurality of UCI bits; mapping the UCI bits to a set of modulation symbols; obtaining a resource configuration, wherein the resource configuration Indicating at least one or more allocated resources available for transmission of the modulation symbols; mapping the modulation symbols to the resource configuration, wherein the resource configuration further indicates inclusion in the one or more allocated resources the allocated subcarriers in ; and transmitting the modulation symbols using the allocated subcarriers.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to wireless devices and network nodes for wireless communication systems. Furthermore, the present disclosure also relates to corresponding methods, computer programs and computer program products. Background technique [0002] In a wireless communication network, information is transmitted wirelessly between the different wireless devices of the system. For example, information may be transmitted downlink (DL) from a network node such as a base station (BS) to a user equipment (UE) or wireless device, or uplinked from a UE or wireless device to a network node or BS road (UL) transmission. The information can be both data and control information, and different channels can be used to transmit the information depending on whether the transmission is an uplink transmission or a downlink transmission, and depending on whether the information contains data or control information.
