Embodiment Construction

[0022] Reference will now be made in detail to illustrative embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers will be used throughout the drawings to refer to the same or like parts.

[0023] The present disclosure provides systems and methods for assessing a subject's neurological state and providing an assessment of the subject's neurological state. As used herein, the adjective "nervous" when used to describe states and assessments should be understood to apply to neurological and / or neuropsychiatric conditions. In some embodiments, the assessment involves brain electrical activity information obtained from the subject. Throughout this disclosure, the terms "brain electrical activity data" and "brain electrical information" are used interchangeably. In some embodiments, the assessment involves a clinical assessment based on inquiries or observations obtained ...

Abstract

Methods and systems for assessing brain activity and collecting information related to a subject's condition and brain electrical activity are provided. The methods and systems include collecting andtransferring data related to the neurological state of a subject. The systems and methods further include performing a first assessment of the collected data using an assessment device and performinga second assessment of the collected data using a computer. The methods further include comparing the first assessment and the second assessment and recording whether the first assessment and second assessment are consistent.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims the benefit of US Provisional Patent Application No. 62 / 273,677, filed December 31, 2015, the entire disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0003] The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for monitoring and evaluating subjects, and more particularly, to monitoring and evaluating neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions in a variety of clinical or field deployment scenarios using networked devices that allow for the use of Configurable interaction, data delivery, and data collection of the subject and those involved in the subject's neurological or neuropsychiatric care. Background technique [0004] There are many medical and surgical conditions that require prompt and accurate diagnosis or triage to ensure optimal outcomes. However, it is often difficult to get a subject to a hospital or other location that has up-to-date diagnostic resource...
