The method comprises steps of dividing a schedulable load curve into a base load, a waist load and a peak load so as to divide different areas into a large number of energy blocks and mark the energy blocks at different positions with different electricity prices; then filling the energyblocks with the power generated by different power plants with different electricity prices; and finally obtaining the optimal power generation optimization scheduling result. The method enables eachpower plant to fill the energy blocks corresponding to the load curve with the electricity price and power of load characteristics in combination with its own power generation characteristics, thereby mobilizing different types of power plants to use their peak load regulation advantages to earn more profits, to consciously participate in system peak load regulation, and to greatly relieve the system peak load regulation pressure.
