Abstract

Embodiments of the invention relate to a network element health state detection method and device, relating to the technical field of communication. The method comprises specific steps that a detection device determines sample data of at least one key performance indicator (KPI) of a target network element in a first time window; the detection device obtains a score of fluctuation of any KPI according to the sample data of any KPI of at least one KPI in the first time window and a stability value of any KPI; and the detection device determines a health state of the target network element according to the score of fluctuation of each KPI of the at least one KPI. According to the method, the network element health state is determined based on performance data of a single time point of the network element and performance data in the network element time window. The problem of inaccurate determining based on performance data of a single time point of the network element only is solved. Themethod can identify network element health state more accurately.
