Abstract

Provided is a geared motor configured so as to suppress operating noise using a simple dustproof and waterproof structure. A geared motor 1 is provided with a motor body 10 and a gear mechanism 20. A flange 14 extending over a rotating shaft 11 is affixed to an end surface 12 of the motor body 10. The gear mechanism 20 has a gear case 21 configured such that: the outer periphery of the flange 14 is affixed to the opening 21A of the gear case 21, which is located on one end side thereof; an output shaft 20A protrudes from the other end side; and the gear case 21 has on the inner periphery thereof the stationary inner teeth 21G of a planetary gear power transmission mechanism. An elastic-ring accommodation section (50) is provided in the outer periphery of the flange 14. The elastic-ring accommodation section 50 has an elastic-ring pressure contact surface 51 tilted at a given angle relative to the rotating shaft 11 and facing the end surface 12 of the motor body 10.
