Abstract

A vehicle air conditioner includes an air conditioner case (21), a center face opening (33), a side face opening (33A), and a blow-out mode door (50). The blowing mode door has a rotating shaft portion (52), a door panel portion (51), and a pair of side plate portions (53) connecting the door panel portion and the rotating shaft portion, and sets a blowing mode for blowing air-conditioning air into the vehicle interior. The side plate part is arranged in the opening range of the side part opening part in the rotation axis direction. The blow-out mode door has a suppressing protrusion (57) capable of suppressing the flow of air-conditioning air between the side plate portion and the air-conditioning case. When the first blowing mode is set in which the door panel fully opens both the central face opening and the side openings, the suppressing protrusion does not suppress the flow of air-conditioning air toward the side openings. When the door panel is set to the second blowing mode in which both the central face opening and the side openings have intermediate openings, the suppression protrusion suppresses the flow of air-conditioning air toward the side openings.
