Abstract

Firstly, the maximum vehicle number accommodated by the exit short lane is used as a threshold, and the queue length of vehicles in the entrance short lane is controlled according to the number of vehicles entering the entrance short lane; then, the phase difference is set reasonably according to real-time signal timing of the intersection to determine the moment of vehicles leaving the intersection in the exit short lane, so that afflux traffic flow ofthe exit short lane and straight traffic flow of the adjacent lane are least affected, and conflict points of the two traffic flows are eliminated.
